Soundpack · Digitone II
DigiFAM
16 patterns and 28 sounds that bring the raw, punchy, physical character of a classic semi-modular percussion synth to the Digitone II.
About this pack
DigiFAM is a pattern and sound pack for the Elektron Digitone II. It recreates the unmistakable sonic character of a certain “Drum Machine From Another Mother” inside the Digitone II’s virtual analog engine – raw, punchy, percussive and highly physical.
The 16 patterns and 28 sounds (the sounds are identical to the patterns) use velocity mapping and keytrack mapping, which makes it simple and immediate to create endlessly new patterns. All parameters stay fully accessible, so you can tweak the sounds in different directions, and every pattern comes with tailor-made effect settings.
A short text manual with tips is included.
Everything is synthesized with the Wavetone machine – none of the sounds use transient samples. DigiFAM suits Techno, Industrial, Hypnotic Techno, Raw Techno, Experimental and Acid. All demos are direct-out recordings of the Digitone II and use only sounds from the pack.
