Voltage Chaos is a massive sample mega pack from the evil, gnarly and in large parts ridiculously brutal side of Eurorack and semimodular synthesis: 666 samples in total. Treat them as raw material to be filtered and transformed – or tame them and play them as they are.
The pack holds 64 basses, 90 abstracts, 51 hihats, 139 kicks (a lot of them scream), 36 pads, 141 percussions and 145 loops – the loops are patterns that can be pad, percussion or abstract material. The 666 WAV files come at 44.1 kHz and 24 bit (stereo or mono, depending on the source) and work with any sampler, including Digitakt II, Octatrack and Tonverk.
The sounds were created with lots of Eurorack modules and a couple of semimodular synths, among them the Synthfox Sledgehammer, Make Noise Strega, Sonicware Texture Lab, Landscape Noon and Stereo Field, Tunefish Benjolin, Soma Pulsar-23, Mutable Instruments Beads, Error Instruments Liquid Glitcher, Behringer Neutron, WMD Crucible, the Erica Synths Syntrx II and the Twisted Electrons Blast Beats.
Suited for Techno, IDM, Hard Techno, Industrial, Electro, Noise, Gabber and Hardcore – the demos were made on the Digitakt II using only samples from the pack.
